On October 4, 2020, in the early morning hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department apprehended Ronald Williams in connection with a homicide earlier in the morning.

On September 3, 2020, at 0101 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 5000 block of Werling Drive in reference to a shooting.

On October 1, 2020, at 2130 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was the Regency Inn located at 1004 West Coliseum Boulevard, for an unrelated call to service.

FWPD: Homicide Investigation Arrest Update
Following the arrest of Tommy Lyles on September 29, 2020, Fort Wayne Police Homicide Detectives continued to investigate the murder he was charged with and discovered evidence and witnesses that exonerated him.
