Fort Wayne Fire Chief Eric Lahey today announced that the Fort Wayne Fire Department is accepting applications for their 94th Recruit Class.

On Sunday, July 25, 2021, at 9:25 am, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the report of a bicyclist hit near the intersection of Hadley and Illinois Roads.

On July 21, 2021, at 10:43 PM, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the 4200 block of Robinwood Drive in reference to an adult male with injuries to his head.

On July 18th, 2021, at 12:56 am, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to investigate the report of a male who had made threats to shoot another male in the 700 block of Russell Avenue.

On July 17, 2021, at 6:36 pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to Fourth Street, in front of Lawton Park, in reference to a vehicle accident involving a 4yr old boy.

The Indiana State Police will be targeting drivers violating Indiana's Move Over/Slow Down law, July 18, 2021, to July 24, 2021.
