On September 20, 2020, at 0103 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 3400 block of North Clinton Street in reference to a subject lying in the road.

On September 18, 2020, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested Demetre Payton for the murder of Jamarcus Kindred at Lafayette Street and East Williams Street on July 27, 2019.
