The Allen County Election Board has been notified of two recount requests from the May 5, 2026, Primary Election.

The Election Board has been notified that 2 recounts have been filed. One at the State level for Senate15 (Vogt v Brown). A recount petition was filed with the Allen County Clerk of Courts for Commissioner 3 (Connolly v Moss) . At this time, we have not been served with any documents.
We are not sure how long the recount process will take, when it will take place or the details of process of the recount.
Not sure on the cost of the recount but it will be paid by the candidate who filed the recount.
As soon as we have more details, another release will be sent.

According to the final results of the 2026 Primary Election, the following count of each race was:
Allen County Commissioner, 3rd District Republican candidates
- Ewelina Connolly: 10,558 votes for 49.85%
- Paul Moss: 10,623 votes for 50.15%
Margin of victory: 65 votes, 0.30%.
Indiana State Senator, District 15 Republican candidates
- Liz Brown: 5,241 votes for 50.07%
- Darren Vogt: 5,227 votes for 49.93%
Margin of victory: 14 votes, 0.14%.
All of Indiana Senate District 15 resides in Allen County, Indiana.
