Renaissance Cruise-In Car Show open to public – 10/2/2021
The City of Fort Wayne's Public Works Division will host the first Renaissance Cruise-In car show on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the Renaissance Pointe YMCA.
FWPD: Pursuit and traffic accident
On April 28, 2021, at 1:55 pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department Gang and Violent Crimes Unit attempted to conduct a traffic stop which led to a pursuit and traffic accident at Robinwood Drive and McKinnie Avenue.

FWPD: Officer Involved Shooting
On June 8, 2020, a suspect in an Armed Robbery and who had allegedly been pointing a gun at residents in the area, began to shoot at an officer striking his squad car.
Taylor Street closure
Taylor Street between Broadway and Fairfield Avenue is closed at the Norfolk Southern railroad overpass.
FWPD: Shooting Suspect Being Sought
The FWPD is looking for a suspect in the shooting of two individuals on September 21, 2018, at Link's Wonderland.
FWPD: Shooting Investigation
Officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to Link's Wonderland at 1711 East Creighton Avenue at approximately 9:15 a.m. for a reported shooting.
Bowser Pump building demolition
Demolition continues on the former Bowser Pump and FWPD HQ building on Creighton.
Update on the status of the Bowser bldgs
The City has been notified by the McMillen Foundation, the owner of the Bowser buildings, that it's their desire for the buildings to be demolished.
Work to take down Bowser Bldg. begins today
At the request of the McMillen Foundation, a City of Fort Wayne contractor today will begin work to take down the obsolete Bowser buildings on Creighton Ave.
