On August 6, 2020, in the early evening hours, an arrest was made in connection to the July 8, 2020, homicide at the Coliseum Inn at 1020 North Coliseum Boulevard.
FWPD Update: Homicide Arrest, 1100 block East Lewis Street
On August 5, 2020, at 1830 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested Darrius Holliness in connection with the shooting/murder on July 6, 2020, in the 1100 block of East Lewis Street.

On August 5, 2020, at 0831 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to the Hawthorne Suites Hotel parking lot at 4919 Lima Road regarding a report of a stabbing.

On July 31, 2020, at 4:59 pm, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a report of a robbery at the Partners First Federal Credit Union, on Old Trail Road.

On July 30, 2020, at 7:45 am FWPD officers were dispatched to the 4000 block of Willshire Court for the report of a domestic dispute involving a firearm.
FWPD: Suicide Attempt, 4500 block Warsaw Street
On July 28, 2020, at 1007 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 4500 block of Warsaw Street reading a person making suicidal threats.
FWPD: Shooting Investigation, 2600 South Clinton Street
On July 28, 2020, at 2149 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to a shooting at the Popeye’s at 2600 South Clinton Street and found two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
