On Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 1821 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department conducted a high-risk felony traffic stop on 24-year-old Michael Harding II at the intersection of Lima Road and West Coliseum Boulevard.

On May 24, 2023, at 1452 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested a juvenile in the area of 200 Lexington Court in connection to a shooting that occurred on August 20, 2022, in the 1500 block of East Lewis Street.

The Allen County Coroner has ruled both deaths at the Quality Inn on May 16, 2023, as a homicide-suicide which is consistent with the Fort Wayne Police Robbery and Homicide unit's investigation.

On May 10, 2023, at 1508 hours, 38 year-old Steven Atkins, was taken into custody and arrested for the murder of Kiera Zepke on May 9, 2023.
FWPD: Shooting victim dies, 2100 block Point West Drive
The male victim from the double-shooting in the 2100 block of Point West Drive, identified as Tyreece Vachon, later died at the hospital from his injuries and the female victim is still receiving medical treatment.
