On Sunday, June 4, 2023, at 1821 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department conducted a high-risk felony traffic stop on 24-year-old Michael Harding II at the intersection of Lima Road and West Coliseum Boulevard.

Details/Summary:

On Sunday, 06/04/2023 at 1821 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department conducted a high-risk felony traffic stop on 24-year-old Michael Harding II at the intersection of Lima Road and W. Coliseum Blvd. Harding was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Allen County Jail for the following charges; Felony Murder, Aggravated Battery, Robbery (Attempt) and Intimidation with a Deadly Weapon. Harding was arrested concerning the shooting – homicide incident that occurred on 05/18/2016 in the 9100 Block of Brickshire PKWY. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit was assisted by the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit, the Street Crimes Unit, the Uniform Patrol Division and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.

All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
