The Allen County Coroner has ruled both deaths at the Quality Inn on May 16, 2023, as a homicide-suicide which is consistent with the Fort Wayne Police Robbery and Homicide unit’s investigation.

Details/Summary:
On May 16th, 2023 at approximately 1247 hrs., the FWPD responded to an unknown problem of two people down inside of the hotel room. Both parties were pronounced deceased by TRAA. The FWPD Homicide Unit along with Crime Scene technicians investigated the incident. The coroner’s ruling of both deaths as a homicide-suicide were consistent with the homicide unit’s investigation.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
