Downtown Fort Wayne Indiana America 250 fireworks tonight – 7/4/2026

The Fort Wayne TinCaps will be co-hosting tonight’s America 250 fireworks display along with the City of Fort Wayne in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Traditionally, the fireworks have been fired from the top of the Indiana Michigan Power building. This year, due to the pending birth of one of the falcons atop the building, the DNR suggested moving the location. As it turns out, the move was not necessary as the egg failed to hatch.

Instead, the fireworks will be fired from the top of the parking garage in Harrison Square at Harrison Street and Douglas Avenue. The show will begin right after the conclusion of the TinCaps vs. Great Lakes Loons game, at approximately 10 pm.

The TinCaps are hoping to have a record sellout crowd for this evening’s game. Tickets will be sold through the conclusion of the game. If you are looking for the perfect place to view the fireworks, Parkview Field will be the premium venue.

Historically, all of the attendance records at Parkview Field have been set on the Fourth of July. Eight of the top ten have been on the Fourth of July. The current top record is at 9,508, which was set in 2019 as they took on the Lake County Captains.
