Garbage and recycling collection will begin at 5 a.m. when temps reach 90’s
Fort Wayne, Indiana (June 26, 2026) – On days when temperatures are predicted to reach the 90’s, GFL Environmental will begin collecting garbage and recycling one hour earlier. With high temperatures expected next week, the City of Fort Wayne would like to remind residents to set out their garbage and recycling the evening before their collection day.
