The Fort Wayne Police Department has issued a Felony Murder Warrant for David E. Hunter Jr., age 21, Detroit, Michigan, who is wanted in connection with the homicide of Latisha Ann Marie Greene on April 11, 2026.

Details/Summary:
On Saturday April 11, 2026, at approximately 11:16 PM, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the area of Abbott St. and Drexel Ave. regarding reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, Fort Wayne Police Officers located five total victims. One of the victims was identified as 20-year-old Latisha Greene. Ms. Greene was suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to the hospital. Ms. Greene later succumbed to her injuries at the hospital on Sunday April 12, 2026. The other four victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Unit has identified 21-year-old David E. Hunter Jr. as a suspect in this investigation and a warrant has been issued for his arrest.
