On June 8, 2025, at 1948 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a possible house fire in the 3800 block of Wayne Trace.
Time of Alarm: 1948 hours
On Scene: 1952 hours
Under Control: 2018 hours
Upon arrival, crews discovered visible light smoke. All occupants had safely evacuated and were outside of the house. The house was quickly searched and an active attic fire discovered. The fire was extinguished and put under control in a timely matter.
Fire Damage: Moderate
Water Damage: Moderate
Smoke Damage: Moderate
The American Red Cross was contacted to assist the occupants. Other assisting agencies included: Indiana Michigan Power, NIPSCO, the Three Rivers Ambulance Authority, the Fort Wayne Police Department, and Fort Wayne Dispatch.
