Active weather pattern persists

Fort Wayne, Indiana (January 3, 2022) – Lows tonight will drop into the teens to low 20s. Tuesday will remain dry with highs in the 30s. An arctic front will move into the area Wednesday bringing gusty winds and the coldest air of the year. A few snow showers and flurries are possible with the passing of the front Wednesday morning, with lake effect snow along/north of the Toll Road Wednesday night with light accumulations and minor impacts possible. More impactful lake effect snow and a reinforcing shot of arctic air moves in on Thursday into Friday. Subzero wind chills will settle in late Wednesday and persist at times through Friday.
