The Allen County Election Board (ACEB) will meet to review 30 candidate challenges on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at 9:00 AM in room 740 of the Edwin J. Rousseau Centre in downtown Fort Wayne.

The 3-member board will also discuss a complaint filed against Perry Township Trustee, Eric Tippmann concerning his residency.
Three individuals have filed 30 challenges. Gina Burgess leads the trio with 23 challenges filed. She is also a candidate running in the Democratic Mayoral Primary and has no challenges to her candidacy. David Roach has filed five challenges and is also a candidate, but he is running in the Republican Mayoral Primary and faces no challenges to his candidacy. Citizen Susan Richards has filed two challenges.
Most of the challenges revolve around incorrect names, residency issues, or incomplete forms. Challenges are filed using a CAN-1 form and submitted to the ACEB.
If you’re so inclined, you can download a blank CAN-12 or CAN-42.
The challenges will be heard by the three-member Allen County Election Board which consists of Allen County Circuit Court Clerk Christopher M. Nancarrow, appointed Republican Representative Thomas A. Hardin, and appointed Democrat Representative, Timothy M. Pape.
