University of Saint Francis students achieved 100 percent exam pass rates in four health science programs including USF Nursing program, which was the only perfect result in Indiana
(March 13, 2015) — The University of Saint Francis School of Health Sciences is announcing 100 percent certification exam pass rates in several programs. Most notably, the USF Bachelor in Nursing Program achieved a major feat by being the only baccalaureate program in Indiana to earn 100 percent pass rates on the National Council Licensure Exam in 2013.
USF students also achieved perfect exam pass rates in three other programs:
- Radiologic Technology students earned 100 percent pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists’ certification exam for the 20th consecutive year.
- 100 percent of graduates in Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies program passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam on the first attempt for the sixth straight year
- Surgical Technology program students all passed the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting exams on their first attempt.
“Success on licensure and certification rates is one of the indicators of the high quality in USF healthcare programs” says Dean of Health Sciences, Dr. Mindy Yoder. “This is one reason that USF graduates are highly sought after by employers in our region.”
