What’s Happening at Foellinger Theatre June 28 – July 9

Fort Wayne Philharmonic Orchestra, Tuesday, June 28, 7pm, $10 (adults) $5 (child)
Put on your red, white and blue for this patriotic salute performed by Fort Wayne’s own Philharmonic Orchestra.

Movie: The Karate Kid, June 29, 8:30 pm, FREE
Work causes a single mother to move to China with her young son. In his new home, the boy embraces kung fu, taught to him by a master. PG. Sponsored by 97.3 WMEE.

Movie: Megamind, July 6, 8:30 pm, FREE
After super-villain Megamind kills his good-guy nemesis, Metro Man, he becomes bored since there is no one left to fight. He creates a new foe, Titan who, instead of using his powers for good, sets out to destroy the world, positioning Megamind to save the day for the first time in his life. PG. Sponsored by 97.3 WMEE.

Knights on the Town with the Alley Kats, July 7, 8 pm, FREE
The Knights on the Town will play a variety of selections for the Big Band listeners. The Alley Kats add their tap-dancing skills to this concert.

38th Infantry Division Band, Friday, July 8, 8 pm, FREE
Enjoy one of the finest military bands in the Midwest featuring a repertoire of concerts, pop and patriotic tunes in a program that appeals to music lovers of all ages. This concert band, stationed in Indianapolis, performs at various military ceremonies and functions to support the morale of the soldiers of the Indiana Army National Guard. Sponsored by NIPR.

Cook and Belle, Friday, July 9, 8 pm, $5
Bret and Michelle have been performing at various fairs and festivals for the past 10 years. Entertaining thousands of folks throughout the U.S., this energetic country duo is definitely a crowd pleaser. Cook and Belle mixes raw passion, soul, and a gospel influence which makes their hit country a sound of its own.
