Vera Bradley partners with Parkview on Don’t Text & Drive message
Vera Bradley is taking Parkview’s Don’t Text & Drive message worldwide to their more than 1,100 employees, introducing the life-saving message with a YouTube video produced by Parkview.
The video features Fort Wayne teens and adults who identify who or what they love as the reason why they refuse to text and drive. The video invites viewers to take the pledge against texting and driving on Parkview’s Don’t Text & Drive Facebook page.
The Fort Wayne-based company is also sharing the Don’t Text & Drive message with their social media fans on Facebook. Combining the reach of Vera Bradley and Parkview’s Don’t Text & Drive Facebook fans, the message has the potential to reach more than 420,000 people.
“Parkview’s Don’t Text & Drive program is saving lives across northeast Indiana and Vera Bradley is compelled to share this important message with our family and friends,” said Melissa Schenkel, public relations representative, Vera Bradley. “Our hope is that after viewing this video, everyone who sees it will commit to take the pledge against texting and driving.”
“Parkview welcomes the opportunity to share our Don’t Text & Drive platform in a new way,” said Lori Hunt, trauma prevention coordinator, Parkview Hospital. “Don’t Text & Drive is a universal message. To be able to have an organization like Vera Bradley help to tell the story allows us to share our message in a powerful way with all who need to hear it.”
