What’s Happening in the Parks (June 6 – 13)

 

SENIOR GAMES
Now through June 17th at various locations around the City.  For information, view the brochure here.

 

LIFETIME SPORTS ACADEMY OPENING DAY KICKOFF
June 8th – July 24th: During the FREE LSA session boys and girls ages 8 – 18 will receive group lessons in golf, tennis and swimming instruction in a supervised environment. They may attend as often as they wish and stay as long as they’d like. A pavilion program provides arts, crafts and organized games. Special activities such as soccer, softball and volleyball will be organized at various times throughout the week for children not participating in group lessons. Lunch is provided daily through Fort Wayne Community School summer lunch program.

 

SUPERVISED SUMMER PLAYGROUND PROGRAM BEGINS
June 8th to August 7th from 9-5 pm Every Monday – Thursday: Kids are invited to join the fun for FREE! Softball, kickball, t-ball, story hour, arts and crafts, bumper pool and Kohl’s Healthy Kids fitness program are just a few of the fun and exciting activities planned for our summer playground program. All playground sites are supervised by qualified, trained staff. The program is open to boys and girls ages 5 and older. Free lunches are provided daily by Fort Wayne Community Schools.

THE BEL AIRS
June 13th at 8:00 pm at the Foellinger Theatre, Franke Park: The Bel Airs are back again this year, bringing their popular Rock-A-Billy music genre. Sponsored by 102.9 The River. Fee: $4.
