Battle on the St. Mary’s River!

During last weekend’s Germanfest, Old Fort Wayne was demonstrating life in Colonial America, circa 1760-1790.  One of the most exciting additions to their activities took place on the St. Mary’s River.  A raid by pirates was staged, complete with musket and cannon fire!  On Saturday, the good guys were the winner and on Sunday, the pirates won.  I’ve posted a selection of photos from the encampment and battles on both days.
