Highway Dept. offers sand, sandbags for residents affected by flooding
The flooding threat from recent heavy rainfall has led the Allen County Highway Department to offer citizens free sand and sandbags.

As of 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Allen County Highway Department reports the following roads are closed due to high water.
Volunteers needed for sandbagging
The City of Fort Wayne is asking for volunteers to help sandbag and protect homes in the Belle Vista, Bradbury, Prairie Grove and Broad Ripple neighborhoods.

The City's Division of Public Works has placed sand and empty bags at two locations for residents to access.

As of June 16th, 8:15 a.m., the Allen County Highway Department reports the following roads are closed due to high water.
