The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a flood watch for the Saint Joseph River in Ohio.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms expected today
An active weather pattern will continue over the next few days as a frontal boundary lingers across the area.
Gusty winds moving through the area
National Weather Service Doppler Radar indicated a line of showers producing gusty winds moving through our area at 50 mph with gusts of 40 to 45 mpg common.
Snow bands to remain persistent through the morning hours
An Additional 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected through the morning hours today across the warning area.
Prediction revised: Expect 3 to 5″
Although the exact track of this system is still uncertain, the forecast models are coming into better agreement and it is looking increasingly likely that the southern half of our area will see significant snowfall accumulations.
