On June 8, 2020, a suspect in an Armed Robbery and who had allegedly been pointing a gun at residents in the area, began to shoot at an officer striking his squad car.

On June 1, 2020, at 1721 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the 500 block of Pierce Avenue in reference to a reported shooting with a possible juvenile victim.
