Fort Wayne Completes Another Record-Setting Season
(September 12, 2016) — In the eighth season of TinCaps baseball at Parkview Field, the team completed another record-setting season. Though the longest active playoff streak among all Minor League and Major League Baseball teams came to a close at seven years, the TinCaps still provided plenty of highlights throughout the campaign.

- Franchise record for average attendance (6,084)

- No. 2 average attendance among all 100 Single-A/Rookie teams

- Seventh time in eight seasons at Parkview Field with attendance eclipsing 400,000

The 2017 Midwest League season begins on April 6 when the TinCaps square off with the Lansing Lugnuts on the road. The TinCaps return to Fort Wayne to host the Lugnuts in the home opener on Saturday, April 8 at 6:05 p.m. at Parkview Field.
