Today a press conference was held at the Fort Wayne Outfitters on Cass Street. Â The purpose was to introduce the Wells Area Merchants (WAM !) lighting project for the Historic Wells Street Bridge. Previous AFW post.

The Wells Area Merchants, WAM ! presents “Windows of Wells”.
Our windows will be auctioned off on Sunday, October 19th between 3:00 and 5:00 PM on the Historic Wells Street Bridge. Â All of the proceeds will go to the bridge lighting project. Â We are sure this landmark, once lighted, will become a downtown attraction for tourists and residents alike.
Donations are tax deductible and may be made out to “Board of Park Commissioners” with a note, Bridge Lighting. Â They may be dropped off at G.I. Joes or Great Panes Glass, or mailed to WAM ! Â 1307 North Wells Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46808.
