On August 8, 2026, at 0336 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department responded to the Showgirl III at 930 East Coliseum Boulevard, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in reference to a reported shooting.

Fort Wayne Police Department incident Report Details/Summary:
On Saturday, August 8th, 2026, around 3:36 a.m., officers with the Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) responded to 930 E. Coliseum Blvd. (Showgirl III) in reference to a reported shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers performed life-saving measures until medics arrived. The male was taken to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased by the hospital staff. Around the same time the deceased male was at the hospital, another male arrived at the same hospital with an apparent gunshot wound as well. Investigators believe he may be involved in the initial shooting. His condition was determined to be critical by the hospital staff.
Currently, there is no known threat to the public. Homicide detectives are currently at both scenes interviewing witnesses and reviewing any available footage. The Crime Scene Unit is collecting evidence and documenting the area, with support from the Air Support Unit.
