
A jury has found Reginald Brooks guilty of Murder and a Firearm Enhancement following a four-day jury trial in Allen Superior Court.

Jury Finds Reginald Brooks Guilty of Murder and Firearm Enhancement
Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 30, 2026) – A jury has found Reginald Brooks guilty of Murder and a Firearm Enhancement following a four-day jury trial in Allen Superior Court.
The charges stem from the January 30, 2025, shooting that claimed the life of Sajdah Abdur Rabb.
The jury returned its verdict after approximately one hour and 20 minutes of deliberation.
The case was tried by Deputy Prosecutors Tasha Lee, Ashley Skibinski and Daylan Schurg. The investigation was conducted by the Fort Wayne Police Department Homicide Unit.
Brooks is scheduled to be sentenced on October 30 at 11:00 a.m. by Judge Frances Gull.
