Traffic Alert: Parnell Avenue to be one-way temporarily

Due to private development work at the intersection of East State Boulevard and Parnell Avenue, construction within the roadway will begin soon.

Parnell Avenue to be one-way temporarily

Fort Wayne, Indiana (September 15, 2026) — Due to private development work at the intersection of East State Boulevard and Parnell Avenue, construction within the roadway will begin soon. Starting Thursday, September 17, Parnell Avenue will temporarily transition to southbound-only. During this time, motorists will not be able to drive northbound from East State Boulevard to Nettie Avenue. This adjustment is necessary to provide working room for the construction crews installing a concrete center median in the roadway. Weather permitting, traffic is expected to transition back to normal configuration by end of the day on Wednesday, September 23.
