INDOT: U.S. 30 stoppages and Flaugh Road closure planned – 9/14/2026

The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a closure and overnight traffic stoppages as part of the ongoing U.S. 30 Corridor Improvements project.

U.S. 30 stoppages, Flaugh Road closure planned as part of ongoing construction

Allen County, Indiana (September 10, 2026) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a closure and overnight traffic stoppages as part of the ongoing U.S. 30 Corridor Improvements project.

Starting on or after September 14, crews will begin work on the Flaugh Road roundabout between U.S. 30 and Washington Center Road. The closure is expected to be in place for 90 days. Access to Amazon’s north entrance will be closed during construction, but the south entrance will remain open.

Crews will also begin setting bridge beams over U.S. 30 for the Flaugh Road Diverging Diamond bridge. On September 14 and September 15, stoppages will take place in the eastbound lanes. Westbound stoppages will occur on September 28 and September 29. Traffic can expect 20-minute stoppages between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. on these dates with a 20-minute break between each stoppage.

INDOT encourages drivers to consider safety for all by slowing down, using extra caution and driving distraction-free when travelling in and around all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
