A new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of St. Joe Center Road and Meijer Drive to improve safety and traffic flow in the area and will begin operation August 11, 2026.

Traffic signal at the intersection of St. Joe Center Road and Meijer Drive soon to be operational
Fort Wayne, Indiana (August 7, 2026) – A new traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of St. Joe Center Road and Meijer Drive to improve safety and traffic flow in the area. Beginning Tuesday, August 11, the signal will operate in flash mode to alert drivers to its presence and to the upcoming change in traffic control.
On Thursday, August 13, the signal will transition to full operational control. Drivers traveling through the intersection should remain attentive, use caution, and follow the instructions displayed by the new signal.
The City encourages all motorists to familiarize themselves with the updated traffic pattern and to plan accordingly as the new signal becomes active next week.
