Officers responded to a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash at Hessen Cassel Road and Maple Grove Avenue at 1:37 p.m. on Friday, June 26, 2026.
Upon arrival, officers located the motorcyclist in critical condition. The rider was transported by medics to a local hospital. Due to the severity of the injuries, the FWPD Fatal Accident Crash Team was requested to assist with the investigation.
The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators. At this time, speed appears to be a factor in the crash.
Motorists are advised to avoid Hessen Cassel Road between Paulding Road and McKinnie Avenue for approximately the next two hours while the investigation continues.
