On May 9, 2026, at 1021 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a vehicle fire in a garage in the 300 block of West Concord Lane, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 1021 hours
On Scene: 1026 hours
Under Control: 1052 hours
Firefighters arrived on the scene and observed fire coming from the garage and living room as well as heavy smoke throughout the house. Crews immediately went to work searching the residence for any occupants and extinguishing the fire. The fire was extinguished. It was confirmed that no one was in the house.
The fire was investigated and found to be accidental in nature resulting from working on a vehicle.
