News release from the Allen County Coroner:
The Allen County Coroner’s Office has been identified and made notifications to the next of kin of the deceased individual that was found shot in the 3200 Block of Abbott Street, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 23:16 hours, Saturday, April 11, 2026. She has been positively identified as Latisha Ann Marie Greene, female, Black, 20, of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was transported to a local hospital and later was pronounced deceased on April 12, 2026.
Latisha Ann Marie Greene’s Cause of Death is Gunshot Wounds, and the Mannewr of Death is Homicide.
Latisha Ann Marie Greene is the 4th Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2026.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office./
