The Allen County Coroner has identified William Antwuaine Holley, Jr., as the 3rd Allen County Homicide in 2026.
Please note: William Antwuaine Holley, Jr. was shot on June 23, 2025, along with another victim who died on June 24, 2026. Holley survived until March 19, 2026, when he succumbed to his injury. Even though he was shot in 2025, he died in 2026, making his homicide the 3rd for this year.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On March 19, 2026, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of the death of an individual that had been involved in a shooting in Tillman Park, in the 7500 block of South Hanna Street, Fort Wayne, Allen County, Indiana, at about 23:50 hours, Monday, June 23, 2025. He has been positively identified as William Antwuaine Holley, Jr., male, Black, age 20, of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
William Antwuaine Holley, Jr.’s Cause of Death is Complication of Gunshot Wound, and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
William Antwuaine Holley, Jr. is the 3rd Homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County in 2026.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
