Chip Chip Hooray For $5 Microchip Day!
Fort Wayne, Indiana (April 13, 2026) – Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control in collaboration with coalition partners Humane Fort Wayne, Fort Wayne Pitbull Coalition, and Lost Dogs of Fort Wayne have announced a community microchip event that will be offered at 5 different locations across Fort Wayne, Indiana.
“This coalition event provides a great opportunity to have pets microchipped before the fun of the summer is in full swing, hopefully keeping animals at home and out of the shelters,” says Fort Wayne Animal Care and Control Director, Amy-Jo Sites. The coalition partners hope to chip over 500 pets between the locations.
Supplies are limited, first come first served, dogs and cats only please.
