Details/Summary:
While working the Safe Family Aggressive Driving and Seat Belt Enforcement Detail, Detective L. Tague 1603 witnessed a black and silver Mustang being operated by Gregory Allen Masterson Jr., travelling at a high rate of speed in a school zone. Masterson’s vehicle was clocked on radar at 56 MPH in a 35 MPH zone and Det. Tague attempted to stop Masterson. Masterson then ran the red light at St. Joe Center Road and North Clinton Street. Masterson then started weaving in and out of traffic attempting to flee from Police where his vehicle struck a white Nissan Altima causing both vehicles to crash into a guardrail. Masterson then fled on foot but was quickly located and arrested.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
