On December 12, 2025, at 0757 hours, the Fort Wayne Fire Department was dispatched to a house fire in the 1500 block of Spy Run Avenue, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Time of Alarm: 0757 hours
On Scene: 0758 hours
Under Control: 0817 hours
Firefighters arrived quickly on the scene to find visible smoke. Crews stretched an attack line for the fire attack and completed a quick and aggressive search of the structure for victims. The fire was quickly put under control by crews.
The fire is currently under investigation by FWFD investigators.
One victim was removed thru a window by arriving crews and turned over to medic unit on scene. Crews located all pets and occupants to a safe and warm location.
