On August 8, 2024, an Assistant Principle from a local high school summoned an officer after learning that a 19 year old male had sent nude videos of himself to a 15 year old student.

Details/Summary:

On August 08, 2024, an Assistant Principle from a local high school summoned an officer after learning that a nineteen (19) year old male had sent nude videos of himself to a fifteen (15) year old student. Detective John Chambers, an investigator with the FWPD Crimes Against Persons Section (CAPS), was assigned as the Lead Investigator. The minor student participated in a Forensic Interview at the Dr. Bill Lewis Center For Children where she disclosed being sent nude videos and images from Brayden Keener. On Friday, January 17, 2025, CAPS detectives and Uniform Patrol officers from the Northeast Division converged on Mr. Keener’s residence armed with a Search Warrant. Mr. Keener was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Jail. Numerous electronic devices were seized from his residence. Detective Chambers was also assisted by the Indiana Department of Child Services, the FWPD Digital Forensic Unit, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
