Due to the dangerously cold temperatures forecast for this evening, the Fort Wayne City Council has cancelled their meeting for tonight.

Notification email from Deputy City Clerk Stacy Reed:

Out of concern for the health and safety of all those who would be in attendance amid dangerously cold temperatures, Council President Russ Jehl has announced that tonight’s Common Council meeting is canceled. This will move the discussion of all bills planned for tonight to next week’s meeting, January 28, 2025 at 5:30 PM. It will not impact their planned passage vote date, which will remain January 28, 2025.
