The Allen County Coroner has identified Myaunna Chacole Foster-Juarez as the 27th Allen County Homicide in 2024.
News release from the Allen County Coroner:
On Thursday, August 15th, 2024, the Allen County Coroner’s Office was notified of a shooting in the 2900 block of Winter Street in Fort Wayne. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.
The victim was identified as Myaunna Chacole Foster-Juarez, 17, female, Black of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The autopsy has been completed and notifiation has been made to the legal next of kin. The Cause of Death is Gunshot Wound of Head and Manner of Death is Homicide.
Myaunna Chacole Foster-Juarez is the 27th homicide for Allen County in 2024.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
