Details/Summary:
On Thursday, May 18th, 2023 at 1203 hours, the Fort Wayne Police Department arrested 18yo Daeshawn Jones in the 4500 block of South Park Drive. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit led the criminal investigation and identified Jones as a suspect in multiple recent shootings. Homicide Detectives arrested Jones on four Level 5 Felony Charges and recovered multiple weapons in the case. The Fort Wayne Homicide Unit was assisted by the Gang and Violent Crimes Unit, the Narcotics Division, the Aerial Support Unit, Crime Scene Management and the Allen County Prosecutors Office.
All criminal defendants are to be presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
