In a short time, she went from just another young performer to having her own night at several clubs and restaurants. Fatima has sung background vocals for Trace Adkins while on the Shine On Tour with Martina McBride as well as Michael McDonald. Additionally, she has opened for Isley Brothers, Jagged Edge, After 7, Keith Sweat, Bobby Valentino, the SOS Band, The Whispers, and shared a stage with Tony Award winner Heather Headley. Most recently, she opened up for Wynonna Judd who called her “the new diva.” Fatima has toured New York, California, Chicago, Atlanta, Dayton, and various parts of Europe, including The Eiffel Tower in Paris, leaving indelible marks at each event.

While conquering the stages of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, Fatima was also singing background vocals and recording voiceovers on various studio recordings for Sweetwater Sound, several of which are still in rotation. She is currently the voice of Three Rivers Federal Credit Union TV and radio campaigns. In 2011, Fatima released her debut CD “A Part of Me” to the world. Out of the studio, she moved from the club scene to performing at special events including the National Anthem for the Indiana Pacers, Fort Wayne Mayor’s Ball, Embassy Theatre, Indianapolis Sickle Cell Foundation, Down the Line and others.

The featured food partner next week is Lewis Street Grill (rib tips, mac n’ cheese, baked beans). This is a CASH ONLY vendor. Mad Anthony Brewing is the Microbrew Sponsor. A cash bar and concessions are available as well. The Embassy bar will feature a frozen Off the Wall (cucumber/lime vodka and pomegranate juice). The Embassy offers an indoor/outdoor experience with access to the Parkview Health Rooftop Patio where patrons can hear the live music and see Fort Wayne’s spectacular skyline. Summer Nights is a rain or shine event. If weather is not favorable for rooftop viewing, patrons can enjoy the full show in the ballroom.
