On July 18, 2021, at 2:33 am, the Fort Wayne Police Department was dispatched to a call that a male had been shot at the intersection of Main and Center Streets.

On July 18th, 2021 at approximately 2:33 AM dispatched received a call that a male had been shot at the intersection of Main St and Center St. Police arrived on scene and located an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately rendered aid. The male initially appeared to be in stable condition and was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment. While at the hospital the injuries became life-threatening.

According to witnesses it may have started over an argument at Peddle City, prior to the victim being shot at Main St. and Center St. Currently witnesses are being interviewed and Detectives are canvassing the area for further leads.
