Fort Wayne Police Department news release announcing the arrest of Joseph Rose who was wanted in connection with the murder of Myquel Lmann Middlebrook:
Homicide Investigation Arrest Made

Suspect Arrested: Joseph Alan Rose – M/W/28 years old
Charge: Murder
Details:
After receiving multiple tips all day Fort Wayne Homicide Detectives were able to use this information in obtaining the location for the suspect from the early morning homicide at the Hawthorne Suites.
The Fort Wayne Police Emergency Services Team was called in to assist taking the suspect into custody. At just after 6:46 pm tonight Emergency Services Team members took Mr. Rose into custody without incident in the 5700 Block of Falls Drive.
Mr. Rose was transported to Police Headquarters for questioning and upon completion of that questioning is being taken to Allen County Lock-up on a preliminary charge of Murder. The investigation is ongoing and may result in additional charges being filed.
Detectives would like to thank all the citizens that called in with information regarding Mr. Rose’s location throughout the day following the incident this morning
This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office.
