Allen County Coroner’s office news release confirming the cause of death in the 2021 1st Allen County Homicide, and name of the victim, Randolph D. Bazile:
2021 1st Allen County Homicide
FORT WAYNE, INDIANA (January 11, 2021) – The Allen County Coroner’s Office was contacted on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at about 3:30 pm, and notified of a stabbing investigation in the 1000 block of Wells Street, Fort Wayne, Indiana.
The victim in this investigation was found suffering from stab wounds and was transported from the scene to a local hospital where death was pronounced a short time after arrival.
The next of kin has been notified of the death and an autopsy has been completed. The decedent has been positively identified as Randolph D. Bazile, male black, 38 years of age, from Ft. Wayne.
The Cause of Death is Multiple Stab Wounds and the Manner of Death is Homicide.
Randolph D. Bazile is the 1st Homicide in Allen County for 2021.
This stabbing is being investigated by the Fort Wayne Police Department, the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office, and the Allen County Coroner’s Office.
