Promenade Park opening weekend activities

The first phase of the City’s Riverfront Fort Wayne project, Promenade Park, will be unveiled to the public tonight, beginning at 5:30 pm.

An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will begin with remarks from Mayor Tom Henry at 6:00 pm. The ribbon-cutting will follow at 6:20 pm.

We attended a media preview tour this afternoon and all we can say is, “impressive” and “game-changing”!

Activities are planned for the entire weekend.
