FWFD: House Fire, Fairbrook Court

House Fire, Fairbrook Court

(August 4, 2018) – Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) units responded to a reported house fire early this morning in the 2700 block of Fairbrook Court. Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage and rear of the home. Occupants of the home stated that they came home to find the house on fire and there was no one inside the structure.
Crews immediately began to extinguish of the flames and searched inside the home to make sure that everyone had been evacuated. The fire was under control within 15 minutes. No one was injured during this incident.
FWFD crews were assisted by (NIPSCO) Northern Indiana Public Service Company, Indiana Michigan Power, (NCE) Fort Wayne Neighborhood Code Enforcement, and (TRAA) Three Rivers Ambulance Authority.
