The Headwaters Park outdoor ice skating rink closes for the season today at 8 p.m.
This has been the 13th season for the ice rink and according to Geoff Paddock, Executive Director of the Headwaters Park Alliance, they will likely come close to seeing 25,000 skaters again this year. The record attendance was set during the 2014-2015 season with just over 27,000 skaters. The cumulative total is close to 285,000 since the rink opened in November 2003.
The ice rink opens at noon on Sunday.
