News release from the Fort Wayne Fire Department:
House Fire, 9421 Camberwell Drive
(October 16, 2015) – FWFD units were called to the 9421 Camberwell Drive just after midnight to a reported house fire. Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire on the exterior of the house and throughout the landscaping. Occupants had self evacuated prior to FWFD arrival. Crews initiated an aggressive attack on the fire and coordinated their efforts to address fire spread in the attic in addition to the fire on the exterior. No injuries were reported and the fire was under control in less than 20 minutes.
FWPD, AEP, NIPSCO and NCE assisted at the scene.
