Statement from Concordia Lutheran High School about JoQuan Liggion:

Our hearts break today at the loss of one of our beloved students, sophomore JoQuan Liggion.

JoQuan was a member of the reserve football team and had his first varsity experience on Friday night. Also, he was a member of Concordia’s basketball team. He was a light in the school. He always had a huge smile on his face, and was someone who could brighten anyone’s day.

We will hold a prayer service tonight (Sunday) at 7 p.m. in the CLHS Auditorium for our community. It will be a time to pray and sing and remember JoQuan.

We will have counselors available next week for students and faculty and staff who need support.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Liggion family during their time of grief.
